Devin Laurence Field's monumental stainless steel sculpture One World One Dream stands between the Bird's Nest National Stadium and the Water Cube Aquatic Center in Olympic Park this year as part of China's spectacular Olympic presentation in Beijing.

The permanent commission was built as the result of a world-wide design competition and symbolizes the 2008 Olympic theme of One World One Dream.

Location

Devin's fifteen-foot cast bronze sculpture Red River was also installed in Beijing in front of the National Art Museum of China for the Beijing International Art Biennale that is being held in conjunction with the Olympic Games.

Nearby at the National Exhibition Center and at Tai Miao Temple in the Forbidden City, Devin's sculpture Yap Kheen Um -Olympic Gathering Place is displayed as part of the Olympic Fine Arts Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This exhibit of art is the permanent collection of the new Olympic Museum that will open in 2010. Until it opens, the collection will travel around the world beginning with the Olympic Museum in Lausanne Switzerland.

In 2006 Devin was invited to be one of the seven international jurors on the selection panel of the Olympic Landscape Sculpture Competition held by the Beijing Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (BOCOG).
